Elizabeth Jane Hurley, an English model and actress, who gained notoriety in the 90s as Hugh Grant's girlfriend was a former English model. Hurley was a frequent guest of Grant and was at the time in being the focus of media interest worldwide because of the success at the box office of Four Weddings and a Funeral in Los Angeles. Her dress from Versace featured a plunging neckline as well as the gold safety pins. Hurley's relationship to Estee Lauder, a cosmetics manufacturer, has been regarded as a defining moment in her professional life. Hurley began her modeling gig at the Estee-Lauder company when she was just 29.
